We are on the lookout for an experienced Design Director to join our studio based in Kew, West London for a period of 6 months. You will work closely with our Creative Director to support our brilliant design team through a busy and exciting period. The post would suit someone who has a passion for sport, is bursting with creativity and has a genuine desire to deliver beautiful and distinctive work. Chapter 3 Graphics works on some of the biggest sporting events in the world, including Wimbledon, The Paralympics, Formula One, UEFA, Women’s EURO, International Cricket, Sail GP, NFL, as well as on a raft of entertainment shows and branded content. Our designs can be seen across a range of award-winning shows and on broadcasters such as BBC Sport, SKY, Channel 4, ITV, Channel 5, BT and more. DAY TO DAY: • Manage and have full creative responsibility for assigned projects. • Provide clear, focused and inspirational design direction to team members. • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, on budget and with excellence in quality and design. • Nurture the Creative Team to collaboratively produce the best-in-class design. • Proactively consider the training/mentoring needs of the team. • Work with the Creative Director to create and deliver training sessions for the design team. • Be the key client liaison for assigned projects and the client brief gatekeeper. • Be a champion for innovation in design and creativity within C3G. • Active and senior role in supporting pitch development for new business opportunities. YOUR SKILLSET / EXPERIENCE • 10+ years industry experience, with 4+ years at a Senior Motion Design level. • Background in TV / broadcast / Film industries and live events, with experience of the sports industry. • Experience of leading and managing a team to deliver graphics packages, titles, promos and more for global clients. • Strong skills in motion design and typography. • Excellent knowledge of After Effects and the Adobe suite is essential. • You’re a wizard in Cinema 4D and have an in-depth understanding of Redshift / Octane. • You may also have experience/knowledge of any of the following: Unreal / Blender / X-Particles / Nuke or bring an interest to learn. Lieu days will be given for any days worked over a five-day week. We offer the option of flexitime hours subject to project requirements.
